When you enter the crypto space it quickly becomes a large part of your life. Sometimes it’s difficult to put yourself back in the position of making your first transfer from Coinbase over to an exchange. Just sitting there waiting for your bitcoin to show up is an anxious feeling, to put it lightly. When it does start to confirm you pump your fist, high five your friend, then think about which altcoin you would like to invest in.
There are so many hopeful aspects of crypto. Are we first movers in a truly disruptive technology that everyone will be participating in within the next few years? Will my investment 100x allowing me financial freedom I could only dream about one short year ago? Will I connect and do business with people all over the world that were mere strangers yesterday?
People say, don’t let your feelings get involved with your investments. I agree with this wholeheartedly…..well, to an extent. We all have that one horse we especially root for, whether we would like to admit it or not. This again adds to our engagement in the space by excitedly talking about our investments and opinions with peers. People can feel the excitement surrounding crypto and they want in.
Last but not least, crypto oozes rebellion. No, we don’t need every government regulation some golf partner of Jamie Dimon can conjure up (by the way, thanks for the apology.) It’s sneaky, it can scare you, and in a way, it feels like you’re getting away with something.
When you add all of these ingredients to the pot it’s quite a unique blend.
Thank you to all who contribute to this community.
